Irma Lair: Thanks for 25 000

Hurray! I have finally reached 25 000 pageviews! Thanks to all who have supported me until now.

This was done entirely digitally, as opposed to my normal process where I start out traditionally, with pencil and paper, and then colour over it in photoshop. This was done mainly because I started later than I intended (less than 100 pageviews before the milestone) and wanted to save time, in case I missed the event. However, I also did it to get in some more practice with making digital pieces. I'm still more comfortable with a pencil than a tablet, but I definitely feel like I'm improving with time.

I had trouble decided what I wanted to do to commemorate the event. At first, I wanted to do something original, but I couldn't thing of anything good. Then I went to my "List," to see if there was anything I had been putting off drawing. I had originally planned to draw Sword, from the manga series Kurohime, but eventually decided to draw Irma, since I have been doing a lot of W.I.T.C.H fan art lately, but have never really done an Irma solo piece (I normally draw her with Riley and/or the other girls), which is odd, since she is my favorite character from the series.
